Cloudflare take 2
And Cloudflare has been disabled. Even after giving it the 48 hours required, it never did start working right.

Well,
I am automating my house using Home Assistant and having it write data to InlfuxDB so I can view said data in Grafana. However my stupid Sensi thermostat isn’t working right. It won’t display any data and is frustrating me to no end.

Well,
I was using a HP dc7900 Core 2 Duo w/ 8GB RAM, a 2 port Intel NIC, a HP P410 RAID Card & 2 500GB HDDs to run a small ESXi host to run my UniFi controller, my Plex Media Server & my home automation server. It died on me last night so now I have to move everything elsewhere. My UniFi controller is going back onto a Raspberry Pi 2, the home automation server onto a Raspberry Pi 3 with Hassbian and then Plex Media Server back onto our desktop. Not to happy about this, but hopefully at some point in the server I can come up with the money to get a Core i5 system so I can run everything on one box. Just frustrating because I had just set it up

I really hate web pages that have a Java web app on them. Especially since the days of being able to run them are going to be going away shortly. Currently, Firefox ESR 52 32-bit allows you to run them, but once they move the ESR to the next version the ability to run them goes away. HTML5 pages are much better, to bad legacy network gear (I’m looking at you old HP ProCurve at work) will never be updated……

Well, port forwarding in RouterOS is way different then any other router I’ve used so far. Tonight I’m hoping I have enough time to figure out what I did wrong so I can get the ports I need to forward forwarded out.

My wife and I have had our current mattress for a while and while it is still comfortable it needs some help. We picked up a Fieldcrest 3″ cooling foam topper at Target yesterday. Didn’t fix it 100% but it was a good first step. Also didn’t wake up covered in sweat like we used to.

Great Cycle Challenge
Hi,
This June, I’m riding in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids’ cancer!
My goal is to ride 79 miles throughout the month.
Why am I doing this? Because cancer is the largest killer of children from disease in the United States – 38 children die of cancer every week.
My challenge will be tough, but it’s nothing compared to what these brave kids face every day of their lives as they battle this terrible disease.
Kids should be living life, NOT fighting for it.
And so I am taking on my own personal challenge to support cancer research and give these kids the brighter futures they deserve…
But I need your help.
Please support my 79 miles challenge to save little lives by making a donation through my fundraising page:
https://greatcyclechallenge.com/Riders/smccloud/d
All funds raised will support Children’s Cancer Research Fund to continue their work to develop innovative treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Thank you for your support.
