Pi-hole
I have decided to run Pi-hole at home again. I just got tired of all the ads making pages take forever to load. However, I have had to add some ad sites to the Whitelist just to get things working (I’m looking at you PBS Roku app). I may have gone overkill on what I block, but better safe than sorry. Especially because my kids are just about to the point of going online. If you’d like my lists, let me know and I can post them.

I am having issues with my PiHole filtering out PBS kids app through multiple devices, Pixel 3 and Nvidia Shield Pro. Can’t seem to nail down what to whitelist. Been filtering through the PiHole logs. Curious as to what or how you found to allow that. The app comes up, but once I choose a show, i just get loading spin wheel for eternity. Sometimes, if i minimize the app and then bring it back up, it will play the episode.

did you ever get pbs kids issue fixed? Im trying to identify the culprit but im having issues as well.

I did not, I just disabled using my Pi-hole due to IPv6 issues on my home network as well.

I think I finally found it.

Not sure what else it does but whitelisting has fixed PBS and PBS Kids.
