for some reason we’re getting more snow. i wanted to get my motorcycle out this weekend but that won’t be happening now

qwest also decided to mess up my final bill from them. i had my service disconnected on march 15th and they billed me through april 24th. they also decided to charge me $49.99 a month instead of $39.99 a month. it should be a fun call to take care of this……..

i’ve been toying around with the idea of getting a new 1tb hd for my windows home server, decided that a 750gb drive is a much better deal (you end up paying around $30-$40 for the last 250gb). also decided to get a photo printer since i did recently get a new camera. the first thing i did was email cannon (wal-mart has a pixma ip2600se for $30) and see if it will work on WHS. they said it might using the xp drivers, but they don’t support it. guess i will just hook it up to my desktop then.

i am still loving my blackberry curve 8330, although at times i’d like a pearl 8130 just because it’s a little smaller and it would be easier to dial on it. but oh well, i’ll survive with my curve.

i have been an uncle for over a month now. sadly and not shockingly, i have yet to see my nieces. last time i heard from my brother was 3 weeks ago, i guess it has been decided for me to not be a part of their life. really pisses me off since i should be able to take part in that decision.

i am finally getting decent speed broadband again.  when i moved, qwest wanted me to keep paying the same price but go from 7mbps down to 3mpbs down so i dropped to 1.5mbps down thinking i’d be fine.  come to find out, i couldn’t tolerate the slower speed…….  charter sent my gf a promotion that allowed you to get 5mbps internet and basic cable (first 22 channels) for $5 more than i was paying for the 1.5mbps service from qwest, since i was thinking about cable tv anyway i decided it would be a good idea to switch.  of course, i will probably re-think that if charter goes bankrupt

still minnesota weather. we are basically in a blizzard now, and it was in the 50′s not to long ago.

in other news, my brother promised my dad he would call me by last night. didn’t happen and sadly i don’t expect him to ever call me about seeing my nieces.···

well,

my nieces are almost a month old and i still have yet to see them. hell, it took my brother close to 2 weeks to get back to my parents about seeing them for a second time. the dumb ass really needs to make sure we are part of their lives instead of letting his wife tell him exactally what to do and keeping us out of their lives.

i am feeling better. was running a temp again last night, but today i feel like i’ll survive.

i get to watch the gf’s cat this weekend, that should be interesting. i’m hoping she doesn’t chew through any wires like she has a tendancy to do (i.e. the reason i have a wireless sensor bar for my wii).

i haven’t had any caffeine since tuesday, and i only had one 20 oz bottle of mtn dew then. now to find a stash of caffeine free mtn dew since i still like the flavor of it.

first my dumb ass decides to try to stop drinking caffeine cold turkey, withdrawl migraines here i come. after taking the day off yesterday because of that (and deciding to slowly reduce my caffeine intake) i end up trying to hack up a lung today
